Obelisk, Tombstone, and Stone Tablet Steps

In addition to being the lthe production designer for the film, I fabricated the obelisk, the main tombstone used in the story, and the hillside stone tablet steps. Everything was crafted from foam, painted, and distressed with varying degrees of age and weathering. The engraving for the hero stone was done on chipboard, then attached to a foam backing and blended to look like a 3-inch thick headstone.

Giant Grass Blades

This was a film shot on the XR stage in Atlanta. I fabricated the giant grass blades from eva foam, supported them with armature wire and dowel rods, textured them with a wire brush, and painted them shades of green/yellow/brown.

Shipping Container

I was commissioned to create a shipping container facade for a scene in one of the major SCAD XR stage productions of 2023, Carved in Stone. The scene was a added mid-production with little time to prep. The plans, gathering of supplies, build, paint, and installation were accomplished in three days.
